Cultural Council Of Richland & Lexington Counties
The council serves as an umbrella organization for more than 100 arts-related groups, provides grants for artists in the Midlands and educates students through special projects. Koger Center for the Arts
The Koger Center’s season generally starts in September. Season tickets can be purchased in August. USC's Longstreet Theatre

Newberry Opera House
This historic opera house hosts 165 shows a year and several different series — from Broadway, to big bands to beach music to country. The season runs from September to June, but it’s a good idea to buy tickets for a whole series in early August. The opera house is at 1201 McKibben St. in Newberry. Patchwork Playhouse
Providing live theater for all ages, the Patchwork Playhouse is located in Lexington at 711 E. Main St. In addition to children’s productions, the players also stage a “Mystery Dinner Theatre” series that usually runs from October to May. Call (803) 951-2100. Visit them online click here.

SC Philharmonic
It is the resident professional orchestra of central South Carolina. The philharmonic’s Master Series begins in September and runs through April. SC Shakespeare Company

Town Theatre
Staging family-oriented entertainment, the Town Theatre is located at 1012 Sumter St. The theater’s season runs from September to May, and several season packages are available. Work Shop Theatre of SC
The people at Workshop have staged productions from “Grease” to “Master Class.” The season usually runs from July to May, and a variety of multi-show packages are available.
